This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 AMβ9 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (210) 255-1755. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is eatplantology.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 321 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded vegetarian & vegan in San Antonio.
San Antonio is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Antonio follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My husband and I ate there tonight and it was FABULOUS!! I had the patty melt with fries and he had one of the burgers (I forgot which one) with fries. The food was so good. I highly recommend giving them a try. I brought home an order of the Mac-n-cheese for later and canβt wait to try it. Parking is not great there but itβs worth it.

The experience was amazing. Since everything was vegan and gluten-free, the food tasted fresh and natural without leaving you feeling overly bloated. Surprisingly, many of the dishes tasted very close to real meat and dairy products. The lavender lemonade was easily the highlight, while the cucumber lemonade was better than expected, even though itβs not usually my favorite. The staff and people there were friendly, welcoming, and easy to have a genuine conversation with.

My updated review. Food was excellent I got the Philly combo with hibiscus tea and it was amazing. My friend got the Quinoa avocado bowl I tasted it amazing. The location could use some sprucing, and the parking is very limited. If you're Vegan try this place it's amazing!

Wow! The wait was too long for Mexican food across the street so we visited Plantology and ordered the quesabirrias and Oaxaca bowl. Every single bite always absolutely mouth watering and delicious! My Mexican non-vegan husband loved it as well! Highly recommend! We will be back.

This was my first time trying a vegan restaurant, and it did not disappoint. It is extremely reassuring that everything here is gluten-free. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is super cute. We ordered the jackfruit flautas, cauliflower tacos, and the kale Caesar salad. Everything was fresh and flavorful! Highly recommend.
